University economic development leaders are increasingly expected to quantify their region’s competitiveness with precision. Whether you are supporting talent attraction and retention, advising institutional leadership, or aligning with regional partners, the question is the same: how does your community truly compare?
UEDA members now have access to the Regional Economic Data Toolkit at an exclusive 25% discount.
What is the Regional Economic Data Toolkit?
The C2ER Regional Economic Data Toolkit (REDT) brings together four unique datasets designed to help researchers better understand regional economies’ economic development policies and their impact in the United States. These include current and historical Cost of Living Index (COLI) data, going back to 1990, as well as to the State Business Incentives Database, the State Business Expenditures Database, and the Talent and Industry Mix Index (TIMI). The REDT serves as a one-stop shop to access one or more of these resources in an accessible format for students and faculty alike.
