The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta seeks qualified candidates for four newly-created Community and Economic Development (CED) Advisor positions. Each position is designed for a professional with specific expertise: Affordable Housing/Neighborhood Revitalization, Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship, Human Capital and Workforce Development, and Community Development Finance and Infrastructure.The Atlanta Fed’s CED program serves all or parts of six states (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee) by conducting research, writing reports/articles, giving presentations, organizing forums/conferences, and engaging stakeholders to inform community development issues and policies in low/moderate income communities and to inform Federal Reserve System activities. Qualified candidates will have at least five years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree (master’s degree preferred) in a related field (e.g. public policy, sociology, finance, planning, economics), and strong communications and data and policy analysis skills. Candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to assess and address complex issues, provide leadership for initiatives, and work with a wide variety of stakeholders. |
