UEDA has partnered with the Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities to offer to UEDA members the Innovation and Economic Prosperity (IEP) Universities designation program recognizing institutions that are exemplary in their contributions to regional economic development through their work in economic engagement. Through UEDA+, all institutions of higher education ranging from private research universities to community colleges are eligible to pursue the IEP Universities Designation and engage with the IEP university community. In this session, UEDA members who are at different stages of IEP designation process or implementation will share their unique experiences, lessons learned, and value propositions throughout the IEP life cycle. The panel discussion will include an institution who is currently seeking designation, a university 2 years post-designation, and a university midway through the program (5 years post-designation).
