The Association of Public Land-grant Universities and the Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership within the U.S. National Institutes of Standards and Technology propose a workshop-style session focused on ideating and sharing models, challenges, and opportunities for universities and MEP centers can effectively transition innovation from universities to small and medium-sized manufacturers. This workshop will serve as an opportunity for attendees to learn and contribute to a broader project being supported by NIST and undertaken by APLU and Innovation Associates that will identify scalable models of technology transition mechanisms. This workshop will be facilitated jointly by APLU, MEP, and university-based MEP centers.
