Whether it’s civil unrest or a global pandemic, the events of the past 18 months have resulted in a great deal of uncertainty and anxiety throughout the country. Each state has handled things differently and each institution within the state has been impacted differently. As a result, academic leaders have been challenged to think, lead and act differently as they develop approaches for moving their institutions forward. To shed light on how the events of 2020/21 have influenced how universities prepare for upcoming demographic and economic trends, a diverse panel of university presidents will take the stage to discuss how they approach issues that impact economic development, engagement and diversity/inclusion.
