Speakers: Rod Garvin – Manager, Economic Development Advisory Services, Ernst & Young LLP
Edgar Padilla – Manager, Economic Development Advisory Services, Ernst & Young LLP

There is a growing trend towards higher education institutions expanding their contributions to their regions. In addition to academic development, there is a need for colleges and universities to embrace their roles in the areas of workforce, community and economic development. Given their unique position at the intersection of a variety of ecosystems (including Talent and Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Real Estate Development and Placemaking), they can serve as key drivers of inclusive economic development. In this interactive session, we will explore how higher ed institutions and partners can leverage the power of diverse ecosystems for inclusive and innovative growth.
