Concurrent Session – What is entrepreneurial ecosystem building and how do we do it?

Speakers: Jeff Sachse (Moderator) – Director of the Center for Customized Research & Service and Economic Development, The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
Andy Stoll – Senior Program Officer, Entrepreneurship, Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation
Cecilia Wessinger – Founder, Mass Collaboration
Jim Woodell – Founder of Jim Woodell & Co. and Venn University

Panelists who are leading the work to build and fortify entrepreneurial ecosystems will bring insights from the field that include perspectives, experiences, and learnings from communities of practice and professional associations who have been doing this work. A particular focus will be to amplify voices who are underrepresented, increase their exposure, and address gaps and common challenges. Panelists will offer tactical and tangible information and lived experiences to move beyond theoretical and conceptual conversations. This work (ecosystem building) requires a systems level approach and embodies the ideals and practices of the Summit theme: Forward Thinking in a Changing World.
