Position Description The assistant director supports and promotes the Center for Regional Development’s (CRD) mission of improving the lives of residents of northwest Ohio through economic and community development. The position assists the Senior Director with both short-term and long-term strategic planning and decision-making by identifying and providing needed information and professional advice. The position also requires implementing the Senior Director’s plans and decisions and/or procuring necessary resources. In doing so, the assistant director coordinates the conception, selection, design and completion and/or delivery of data and analysis, economic impact analysis, local and regional strategic planning, applied research, program evaluation, and other technical assistance projects undertaken by CRD, and is responsible for the implementation, coordination, and management of those activities. The assistant director is solely responsible for carrying out the majority of off campus program evaluation services to communities and social service/nonprofit organizations. Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in economics, public administration, political science, business administration, public policy, or related field. Successful candidate must have Master’s degree conferred at the time of application. The following experience is required:
